Jose María Folache
Co-Founder
He pursued his university studies in Global Management at Regent’s University London. He began his professional career in Private Banking, working as an Associate at JAR Capital (London, UK), before advancing to Wealth Manager at Globaleye (Dubai, UAE).
Between 2016 and 2019, he held roles as a Private Banker, managing high-net-worth client portfolios at Santander Private Banking (Geneva, Switzerland) and later at Credit Suisse (Madrid, Spain).
At the end of 2019, he transitioned into entrepreneurship, focusing on mobility and sustainability, co-founding BUNY, a company dedicated to micromobility and last-mile solutions (Madrid, Spain).
Since then, he has served as the CEO of Scaena, a project finance company specializing in worldwide events. Under his leadership, Scaena has successfully structured and secured funding for high-profile international projects, further expanding his expertise in financial strategy, large-scale event execution, and global investment management.
Julian Bournat
Business Development
He received his Master of Science in International Business, Information Management at the Maastricht University School of Business and Economics (Maastricht, the Netherlands).
He started his career working at PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in Governance, Risk and Compliance where he also worked on consulting projects in addition to systems control and financial auditing. From then he moved on to the medical industry in 2014, where he gained a lot of experience as a project and operations manager in turnkey medical equipment projects as a local distributer for a vast range of top end medical manufacturers (Brazzaville, Republic of Congo).
After 4 years he started working as a Regional Manager for VAMED Engineering, the biggest hospital and medical equipment turnkey project company in the world, focussing on the development and management of medical projects all throughout the African continent. Since 2022, he continues to contribute to the development and implementation of medical equipment projects in Africa thanks to the vast knowledge and experience gained in the domain.
Juan Tamames
Co-Founder
Holds a Bachelor of Science in International Hospitality and Management from the École hôtelière de Lausanne (Switzerland). He began his career at CBRE Hotels (London, UK) as a hotel investment broker, advising on transactions and investment strategies for hospitality assets across international markets.
In 2018, he founded BUNY, a pioneering sustainable micromobility company (Madrid, Spain), leading public tenders and strategic partnerships with government entities. His expertise spans the promotion, structuring, and financing of international infrastructure projects in emerging and developing markets (Africa and LATAM), with a strong focus on collaborations with governments and state-owned entities.
He has worked across key markets, including Mexico, the U.S., and the Balkans, spearheading projects in hospitality, real estate, mobility, and infrastructure development. With a strong background in high-level negotiations, financing structuring, and strategic project management, he brings a global perspective to complex market dynamics.
